It looks like it’s not possible to directly monitor an input signal with zero latency when using the UR44 with Cubasis - the interface does not have a Input/DAW mix knob like the UR22. This is a serious omission, as there is also no iPad version of dspMixFX software - or is this in the pipeline? Given that Cubasis will soon feature automation and evolve into a serious music creation tool, I’m really hoping that important functions like direct monitoring will also be available in-app, or at least be controllable from a standalone app. This is THE single issue that is stopping me from considering the UR44 as my next interface. I believe Cubasis takes care of the input/output monitoring directly. I have a mic setup from my UR-44 on Mono Input Channel 1 and there is no latency. I have the yellow speaker button lit as well as record. In my Setup, I have Background Audio enabled. I don’t know yet if that helps or not.
