UR44 Audio Interface Usb device not recognized UR44

Hello everybody.

I keep running into this problem with my UR44 audio interface.

After a few minutes of using it on my computer, even when just playing some music from youtube, I start hearing some pops, and then the audio interface disconnects, and the following message appears:

Then it will start working again just if I reset my computer.

Any ideas about what could be the problem?

  • Latest Yamaha USB driver V2.1.1
  • Latest UR44 Firmware Updater V2.12
  • Windows 10 PRO
  • RAM 8GB

Try rolling back (uninstalling and then reinstalling) your Yamaha USB driver to 2.0.4
No guarantees but it’s the last known stable version for windows 10
