I have a UR44. When I tried opening Logic Pro X I would get an license error. I read somewhere to delete dspMixFx, which I did. Everything works fine now. I no longer have the mixer. The only reason I would need the mixer is to change inputs 5 and 6 from -4 to +10. Is there another way to do this without the mixer?

No, not unless you are also a CUbase user (In which case you can control the UR44 from the DAW). But if you temporarily install DspMixFx to change the input sensitivity that will be stored in the UR44 and you can delete the dspmixfx app after you have done what you need to do.
