UR44 with USB 3.0 on new computer

I have a UR44 on a PC using USB 2.0.

If I buy a new PC or Apple MAC with ONLY USB 3.0 ports, will the UR44 work?

I use my UR44 with USB3 on my PC - I ran out of USB2 ports! Works just fine for me.

I am concerned because I have read posts in other forums about various audio interfaces (I don’t know about Steinberg) having problems.

Anyone else have experience with UR44 on USB3.0 ?

Good news. I received this reply from Steinberg support:

Yes, the UR44 should work with a USB 3.0 port as well.

You really should see if you can contact the folks at Sweetwater. The page at http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/UR44/reviews includes a review by “Travis” that explains how the device does not work when plugged into a USB 3.0 port.

Mine works fine in USB 3.0 as well.
Although I have read about the issues I’m unsure what the exact problem is but since it seems to happen only with a few people could it be a simple IRQ conflict (a shared connection with another device)?
