(UR44c) insufficient DSP resource after firmware update 1.5

@Stefan_Schreiber @ca-booter @steve

I tried to update the Yamaha USB driver yesterday, but the problem still remains.

I guess the problem is at the firmware for some unities

BTW, 2.0.3 is coming with TOOLS 1.5 for Windows 10

Hi Cometti.
Thank you for your feedback.
Could you please check the sample rate you are using?
Best regards,
Stefan

@Stefan_Schreiber

Tried all available

44.1
48
88.2
96
176.4
192

SuperSpeed, HiSpeed, etc

None of these worked

Hi Cometti.
I see. Could you please try the following.

  1. On the dspMixFx UR-C, store current settings as a scene.
  2. Click the triangle to open the scene list, and load “0 Initial Data”.

Thanks and best regards,
Stefan

@Stefan_Schreiber

I did as you asked, but the problem keeps happening :frowning:
Any other ideas of what to do?!

Hello Cometti.
I would ask you to do the following:

  • Please click “File” and save the Scene File as “MySceneFile.UR44C”, for example.
  • Please send “MySceneFile.UR44C” to me so that we can investigate it further.
    Best regards,
    Stefan

@Stefan_Schreiber

The file is attached. Any other information you need, tell me!

Thanks

MySceneFile.zip (1.4 KB)

OBS: Do you want to connect to my computer to check it better? You can access it through Anydesk.
If you want, I’ll send you the connection ID by private message

Hi Cometti.
I have fowarded your file to our engineering.
Hopefully they will be able to find out about the reasons for the issue.
Thank you for being willing to have a remote session.
Best regards,
Stefan

@Stefan_Schreiber

I forgot to say, I can put the Channel Strip on all channels, look

That is, there is a resource for the DSP, so the problem is with the guitar effects

A post was split to a new topic: Updated dspmix to 1.5 → black error screen

?!?!?!?!?!?

What you mean?!

@Stefan_Schreiber

I don’t know what I did the first time it didn’t work, but I went through the whole process again and now I finally managed to solve it. A friend from Yamaha Brazil asked me to test the sample rate again and it was finally!
Thank you for the help and support you have given me.

Hello Cometti.
Great! Thank you for letting me know.
I’m relieved that the UR44C works for you again like you expect it to do.
Have fun and enjoy the new functions ;-).

Best regards,
Stefan

So, thank u for moving my question an deleeting new topic, witout answering my question. I found out that it works if i change sample rate from 192 to 96. Now the question is can the dsp work correctly with 192 sample rate?

@games.chajkov The question was actually answered earlier in this topic, and also, by moving your post I assured that the Steinberg staff person who is subscribed to this topic would notified.

Soory but i still see no answer( And i still dont understand how to make it work on 192.

Hello, I have the UR-RT4 and its manual says the amps can’t be used with 192 kHz or 176,4 kHz sampling rate. I think the same should apply to your interface. Take a look in your manual.

That’s right! I’ve same problem with UR22C too. Same days ago I’ve changed the sample rate su 192 forgotting it. Reset to 96 solve the problem for me, no update needed. Thanks a lot!
