I’m looking to add some inputs and outputs to my rig by connecting another unit via ADAT. I would like to know if there are differences in the conversion quality between the UR816C and the UR824. Both AD and DA conversions are important to me, as I may use external audio processing units. Thank you for your help!
There’s a 1dB advantage for the 816C, nothing significant to guide your selection.
If both units fit your needs, I would go for the 816C, if only because it’s a more recent design with likely better/longer term support. (8 or 9 years younger)
