Hi, my PC will not let the UR824 be the output since windows update the speaker icon goes red with an x in it also although the routing is correct in Cubase it will not route sound to stereo out is anyone else having this issue?

You probably have to provide a bit more information. Like screenshots of what you’re talking about (it’s hard for me to follow your description), and of different screens in Windows like “settings” sound section or “device manager” etc.
Thanks Mattias everthing is working in cubase normally now but the problem is I think as you can see in the screenshot windows will not allow me to increase the volume of the UR824 output and keeps the slider where it is as you can see in the task bar the audio Icon has a red dot with an X in it this appears immediately I turn on the UR824 and goes of immediately when I turn it off the same if I turn on prior to booting up my PC.
