hi, ever since i upgraded to cubase 9 i cannot get it to use channels 1 and 2 on mu ur824. The remaining 6 channels work fine and I can assign those.When i use channel 1 or 2 i can see the input level light up on the ur824 but nothing in cubase. With cubase shutdown i can use those inputs and get output thru my monitors.
is there a new driver i need or am i missing something? I have loaded the latest driver and bios for the ur824.
what do u see when u open up the VST Connections window (with F4) in the “Inputs” tab?
i see ur824 analog 1 and 2 mapped to the appropriate buss also when i go to the ‘device setup’ i see analog in 1 and 2 both in an active state
Check loopback button is off

not familiar with that. where is it?
Open the stand alone UR mixer and its on the General Settings page
Uncheck loopback to return control of inputs 1&2 back to the system

That did it thanks. Look they the manual but never picked up on it. Don’t remember ever checking that so not sure how it got on.
I even called support and all they told was to check that that the fader were pushed up
