USB E-Licenser required for Cubase Pro Demo?

Hello people of Cubase Forums,

I have recently been looking into Cubase so I wanted to try the demo. I downloaded it and tried to run it through my electronic E-Licenser (used for Dorico). It said my E-Licenser was out of date but I have the latest version. Do I need a USB E-Licenser just to run the demo?

Yes, you do need usb licenser.
