Regular problems when starting Cubase Pro 11, hangs at media bay then tells me no eLicenser. Sometimes gets to initialising but then shows eLicenser Control Error saying connection to protection device lost. The only solution I have found is to force quit Cubase, uninstall eLicenser, restart computer and reinstall eLicenser. This is happening almost every day. Anyone else had this problem and found a solution?
Sounds like a faulty USB key, or cable, or USB port.
Thanks Steve, dongle plugged directly into computer so no cable and port all looks good. I too have begun to suspect the dongle as can’t find others having similar problem.
