I bought the upgrade to cubase 12 encouraged by the possibility of not using the usb licenser anymore. Unfortunately for a PC change I had passed my Halion6, Groove agent and HSO licenses to usb and now it seems that it is no longer possible to move them to the soft-licenser. This forces me to use usb-licenser again making the cubase update more interesting (for me) totally useless.
Is it possible that there is not a solution proposed by steinberg, for example by canceling the licenses on usb and creating others for the soft-licenser?
We’re looking into the options to allow users to leave the dongle behind for their older licenses.
