Everytime I connect my Rode NT-1 5th gen mic via the usb connection, the latency jumped up to 1000+ms, and the playback of all my recordings(all of what is in the playlist window) runs faster like all my recordings are being played in fast-forward.
Hi @GEMCEE
Thanks for your message.
Please let us have more details:
- Are you using Cubasis for Android or iOS?
- Which device are you using?
- Which OS version is installed?
Thanks
Lars
@LSlowak Im Using iPad Air M2, iPadOS 26.1
Hi @GEMCEE,
Thank you for your reply.
Cubasis for iOS/iPadOS fully supports class-compliant audio devices, which typically only requires properly connecting the audio device to the iOS device.
For reference, here’s the audio routing section from our Cubasis tutorial - usually relevant only when using an audio device with multiple inputs.
We recommend reaching out to RØDE to confirm whether the device in use is class-compliant and to identify any potential issues.
If needed, I’m happy to provide RØDE with a Cubasis promo code for testing.
Best regards,
Lars
@LSlowak i already did it, the mic routing. Rode NT1 5th gen MIC is a class-cmpliant.
even before I update to OS26, i already tried it on OS18. Same problem.
The very issue for me is when the Rode Nt1 is connected via USB(what i wanted), When i pres the Play button, Is plays like a fast-forward.
Hi @GEMCEE,
Unfortunately, we don’t have the device in question and don’t perform hardware checks for third parties.
Please reach out to RØDE regarding the issue. I’m happy to provide them with a Cubasis promo code for testing if needed.
Best regards,
Lars
I think the Cubasis 3 app has an issue. I tried to record on “voice memo” app with my Rode NT1 via USB and it’s working fine. I tried to record on camera with the mic connected via USB and it’s also fine.
So I think it’s not the Rode NT1 has the problem.
