Hi there,
I have been using Steinberg UR816C with Cubase Pro. 14 on a Window 11 PC, have always been working well. Recently I purchased a Apollo Twin X mainly for tracking vocals with Unison inserts to make use of analog gear emulation. I connected fiber optic ADAT output from Steinberg UR816C to ADAT input of the Apollo. The Apollo connect to the PC via thunderbolt 3. I left the Steinberg UR816C connected to the PC at the same with it’s usual USB 3 connection. The system runs smoothly when the Apollo is turned on, but some times I still need to just use the Steinberg interface (without the needs for the Apollo), In studio setting of Cubase, I cannot switch the interface to the Steinberg USB driver any more, It always showed message stated that is cannot connect to the usual Steinberg USB driver. Even when I turned off the Apollo, restarted Cubase, restarted the PC, tried with unplugging and plugging back in the USB for the Steinberg. I also disabled the thunderbolt controller in Device manager of the PC. Still Cubase refused to connect back to the Steinberg UR816C. I hope someone has a solution for this.
