User Colour preference issue.

In Cubase 10.0.20 the same issue as V9 occasionally exists…

Hi,

That’s an known issue. After you setup the colours, you must not save it as a Preferences Preset. Just Quit Cubase. Once you restart Cubase, the preferences is applied.

So how do i save a preset without losing my custom colors?

The workaround works, but i saved my preferences at the end of the day and this morning colours are lost again!

Is this going to be addressed?

Hi,

Make a Cubase profile instead.

  • Change the settings.
  • Restart Cubase.
  • Create Profile.

I agree with Martin.Jirsak

Well I now know it’s a known issue! Certainly not denying that, seen enough of them in my time.

What is the point of presets if they don’t fully work?..(dont save your changes)

Martin, I have now saved a new cubase 10 profile and exported it

For those users who employ a custom color setup and who have upgraded to Cubase 10 where will they find this ‘known issue’ in the version documentation?

So they don’t waste time saving presets and wondering why their colour changes don’t stick

Hi,

It’s not in the documentation. It’s written here on the forum - already reported and described. In this sense I meant it as “known”.

I’m glad it works to you.

ok, its all right
