I need to compress the MIDI velocity of incoming data and record that compressed output: is that possible ? MIDI Modifiers can be inserted at the track level but that’s not quite what I want.
Not quite as easy as the MIDI Modifier module, but you could use the Input Transformer to multpily/divide Value 2 (i.e. velocity) of incoming note-on data.
Good idea. I’ve never touched that part of Cubase before but just a quick play and it would seem to accomplish what I wanted.
