Using multiple audio drivers on a Mac

Hi folks. Here’s a newbie question that I haven’t been able to find the answer to: Is it possible to have more than one audio driver running at once? I’m using my UAD Apollo as my audio interface, and I’ve recently picked up a Roland JU-06A boutique synth that does audio and MIDI over USB. I’ve gotten the MIDI working fine over USB within Cubase, but I haven’t figured out a way to have the audio coming in from it without deselecting the UAD driver. There is an analog out on the synth, so I could always use that, but ideally I’d like to use the USB out. Any suggestions?

Yes. A combined driver in MacOS is called an aggregate device.

Do a search for this.

Oh yeah, an aggregate device, I’d forgotten about those. Thanks for the tip, I’ll give it a shot!
