I am getting this error “This project could not be saved, because: this operation is not allowed. The previous version of the project has been left unchanged.”
MacBook Pro M1 Chip and I am using an external drive that houses all my “projects” I have checked permissions and I have read and write and I have over 200 Gigs of space availabe.

Could you be more specific, please? When do you get this error? What steps you did before, please?
I open a project up from SSD drive that is now plugged into the MacBook Pro (the new computer) . Then change anything in the project, go to save it (save not save as, so it saves to the exact same location It was before on the SSD ) and that error occurs.
