Using your PC keyboard as a midi keyboard

Hey,

I know there’s a post somewhere about how to use your PC’s keyboard as a midi keyboard.

Can someone post it here? I’ve searched google heaps and accidently deleted my search history.


Also, I found the instructions a bit confusing. Can someone explain it in pretty simple terms ?

Hi Pete

Right click the Transport Panel and enable the Virtual Keyboard there.

Inserting all velocities manually…what a nightmare. If you don’t have a lot of room, get one of those mini-keyboards like Akai APC25 or super-cheap LPK25. Still better than typing notes and velocities on your computer keyboard IMHO.
