No crash just the spinning ball and cubase is unresponsive.

Just jumping in here, I went back and forth with support over email with this, Its not possible to get a crash report for this bug, it will just hang forever and never crash. If you force quit, it will not generate a crash report.

Thanks for the info. So is there any light at the end of the tunnel. I have to keep my CB12 pro loaded in Rosetta to do all my editing…then do my final mixing in CB13 pro running native. What a mission !!!

Hi,

You can run Cubase 13 in Rosetta mode too. Then the issue will not appear.

That kind of defeats the object of solving the issue. I should be able to run Natively without problems. I recently worked on a project in CB 13 native and was only editing audio, no vst instruments loaded and it seemed to be fine. Could a vst instrument be causing this?
