I’m trying to Extract MIDI from Audio in CubasePro 15. The manual says: “In the VariAudio section, open the Functions menu, and select Extract MIDI.”
Am I being thick? Am I blind? Do I need more coffee?
Here’s a screenshot of my Sample Editor screen, with all the MIDI pitches shown after VariAudio has analyzed it.
Thank you, good people. Wow, that is well-hidden. I had already opened the Scale Assistant, and didn’t find a Function menu there. No wonder, it’s an obscure boxed titled Choose Function, with most of those functions having nothing to do with Scales!
Time for a Manual Update, if not a rejigging of where these Functions appear.
Thanks again for timely assistance, this forum rocks!
I don´t want to be nitpicky here, but the “choose function” option is already visible without the scale-assistant open, which also is confirmed by the picture igg posted himself and this screenshot from my setup:
It is underneath Scale Assistant. You can see on your first screenshot, that Scale Assistant is folded and the Function area is accessible. Kindly ignore Martin’s post.
