Ahhh, OK… I think I get it now, though still one wrong note in the generated harmony. Anyway, thanks. I don’t think I’ll waste any more time on this feature, this and several other changes implemented in C13 I just find confusing and much preferred the way things were in previous versions to be honest.

This feature works the very same way since day 1. It hasn’t changed in Cubase 13.

Something has changed, for me at least anyway. I just opened C12 now, generated some harmonies and I can immediately edit the generated notes in variaudio, completely independent of any of the settings under the tracks “Chords”. That’s definitely different behaviour and is how I have always experienced this feature in the past.
