I know Variaudio, and understand how time warp can stretch a segment. However stretching seems to warp the surrounding segments. I don’t want that.
My song is 4 minutes long. I’m fixing the audio on a 10 second vocal clip within that song. In the clip, one note should be held 1 second longer. The problem: when I use VariAudio to stretch the note, it shrinks the segments on either side of the note.
What I want to do is stretch a note (segment) from 1 second to 2 seconds, and keep the rest of the clip exactly the same - not shrinking the time taken by the segments on either side. So I need the function to expand the total amount of time taken up the clip.
