MacBook Air Intel, Sonama.
I had the idea to feed audio into VL from VbCable in order to tidy up the mixing ability but VL doesn’t seem to see it as an input
Is this an easy fix?

I can select it as an Input.
Be sure that VST Live has access to the audio inputs.
(Mac / System Preferences / Security & Privacy / Microphone)

I didn’t even look there, I have a UMC1820 as the main input/output device - was looking in layers.
So it’s either but not both?
Ah - penny dropped - aggregate device!
Mac only. On Windows, Asio4all could be the answer but what about clock rates and latency?
