VCA faders in Nuendo

the channel linking defeats the purpose of the Vca, I keep hearing that is not a link nor a group, but when I want to choose a channel or record, they all get selected. Do you think you could explain the reasoning behind this decision?

When I want to choose a track from an external controller I have to press alt to choose only one. The VCA in cubase is one of the main reasons I upgraded and it is broken in my opinion.

Well said - and unarguably true.

There is no logic.
I cannot imagine that Steinberg’s Advisers/Beta Testers requested this.
I’m certain it will be adjusted.
