I am using VEPro 8 for playback, and it holds all my instruments, all of which are sent to the main output in VEPro 8. But for some reason the signal comes back into Dorico via the Horn instrument channel in the mixer, and is very low. See attached. Surely it should be the main out? Where can I fix the return routing from VEPro back into Dorico ?
The reason for it coming out the Horn is, my guess, the Horn is the first instrument of the VEP VST you wired up (port 1/channel 1). So the main output of VEP server lands on the the first instrument. For the volume issue, you’ll need to do gain staging from VST inside of VEP server, VEP server output, Dorico mixer and finally Dorico main out.
