Hi all,
I just want a vertical line next to a note to indicate the zither player to mute the string right after plucking it. Apparently, that’s what the zither players told me it is notated like:
So I just want to create a little downward pointing arrow right next to the note. Vertical Lines do not seem to work here, since it’s only for this one note. Is there any way on how to do this?
Or any other solution on how to do this?

In Write mode select the line you want in the vertical section, in this case the solid line with the arrow pointing up. After selecting it, you should see a little triangle beside your note. Don’t worry if it’s on the wrong side of the note. Switch to Engrave mode and zoom in. You’ll see 2 squares. Grab the top square (the point of the triangle) and drag it down. The arrow will automatically switch its direction and point down. In the properties window, you can change which side of the note the arrow appears by clicking on “Reverse”.
