Vertical order of lines and text for box notation

Hi!

I am trying to do box notation in Dorico. Am I correct that there isn’t any trick to getting the text to appear above the horizontal line by default? I.e. is the only solution to drag things in engrave mode after ticking “Avoid collisions”?

This would be useful for me in other situations too where I would want the line to stay below text by default.

No, there’s no way to determine the default order of text items relative to lines, I’m afraid. In some cases (where you don’t need multi-line text) you could consider adding the text directly to the line itself as a textual annotation.
