I created a custom playback technique that uses the standard accent glyph in order to get an accent on the release of a snare drum roll when the two notes are tied and accented (since Dorico only lets you put an accent on the first OR last, but not both tied notes). It’s a fine workaround, and gets the job done. However, the vertical position of the PT accent is a little lower than the articulation. Is there a way to adjust the PT offset globally to raise it up a touch so it more closely lines up with the matching Articulations? I tried using the Y offset in the edit playing technique dialog, but while that does raise it compared to the crosshairs in the window, it doesn’t change its position in the score. I’m hoping for a global solution for this as I’ll be using this PT a lot moving forward. I’m hoping I don’t have to edit each instance individually.
