Vertical scroll bar disappear

when I’m in galley view and I click my mouse in the score, the vertical scroll bar disappears, as if I push the F11 key. To make it appear again, I’ve to click on the upper button on the right to enlarge the score window again or push the F11 key. Is there an other way to fix both bars once for ever?

It’s not completely clear to me what you mean, but I suppose the issue is that when the window is full screen, you don’t need scroll bars, because the complete height of the system fits into the view.

Thank you for you prompt reaction. In my case I need the scroll bars, since I have more than 16 staves and only 8 of them stay in the screen in a readable way. Of course I could put my screen in a vertical way, but I’d prefer not, because in this case I’d have less measures on the screen.
My question was if there was a manner to avoid this continuously enlarging and shrinking the screen. I can survive even without of course!
Anyway thank you

Provided the “page” is taller than the view, you should find that scroll bars appear. Can you provide a little screen capture video showing what you’re seeing?

here we are, let me know if it happens to you too

I think you met another one of strange Dorico’s bugs, that’s the fact that some UI actions will expand the Dorico window’s size with no apparent reason, indeed you are not in full screen mode.
You have to double click the main window top bar so that the Dorico’s window’s size is reset to the right value.

Thanks for the screen grabs, which make it clear what’s going on. Your display is quite small, so Dorico wants its project window to be wider than the width of your display.

You can solve this by right-clicking in the status bar at the bottom of the Dorico project window, and choosing from the context menu that appears to hide some of the items that are shown down there.

it works, thank you for the good advice
