Hello,
I am trying to enter music that has text descriptions and playing instructions, plus pedal on/off below. I am doing this with the shift-x text entry. I am running out of room between staves, as it seems that text entry, at least as I’m doing it, does not create vertical space. Am I correct? Or is there a way to get it to move staves apart to make room?

Text entered with Shift+X does not currently cause any collision avoidance to be carried out. This will be addressed soon, hopefully in the forthcoming 1.0.10 update (and if not, then in the next update).
