What should one do to reduce the automatic and exaggerated spacing between the two staves of the reduced choir instrument?
Here it is shown next to a piano instrument. The kind of instrument and the brace would make me assume they would follow the same rule but they clearly do not.
Is there a setting for that?
Both the piano and the choir use the Braced Staff to Braced Staff value, though the choir staff seems to get spaced wider than the piano, even with the same values.
Using this setting seems to improve things. (Or at least change things, even though Choir doesn’t use the “Staff to Staff” value when this is set.)
… though that has a knock-on effect on divisi staves.
Another option would be to only allow justification between systems, and then set the Minimum Gaps as you want.
