Video--audio track replacement

Greetings.

I’m interested in using Cubase to replace an audio track in a video. I need some tutoring in this area.

When I import the video, the preview track builds and the audio track imports. I set the frame rate to 29.97 to match the video, then set up a track of audio I recorded in Cubase.

I need to know how to sync these together. SMPTE? Then, how can I make sure everything matches to insure the syncing is consistent through the entire hour-long video.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

Hi,

If you use tis function, Cubase just replaces the audio track of the video file. So it starts from the very 1st frame, and then print it. If you set the same sample rate as the audio track in the original video file, then it will be in sync.
