Its a really cool feature, but actually useless. Why? If it is opened in one song, I have to re-open it manually when I change to the next song. With the normal Monitors it works without any difficulty also by changing the songs. Is there any setting to to to keep it opened while changing songs?
all of this will be fixed with the next version. Only the director monitor window will have to be opened for director, automation, and OBS to keep working.
You recognise the āfadedā video, right? Just letting u know, if I toggle VD-monitor tick, it goes back to correct colours (as seen on Video1 and VDm)
Stop sending screen captures. āWhen I switch there is a grey overlayā is sufficient.
Made a rough analysis of the many screen captures from this forum. Only approx 2% are helpful, the remainder is just eating time. Nearly 80% try to proove a problem, we do beleive you w/o visual proof.
Almost always, a textual description is way more helpful, possibly with a .vlprj file, those are small and most of the time we donāt need audio or video files along with it. Thank you for understanding, but we found ourselves spending so much time watching these videos and trying to figure out what they are supposed to show or sayā¦better use words
This is actually a good example. Are you using the Video Director with just one video track? Looking at your screen capture, there are many windows and now trying to figure out what it all meansā¦
Also - at least on my system - at song change the VDm view not starting to show new songās VDout but showing prevSongās last VDplayed frame. I still need to toggle VDās-monitor-checkbox

with other words, the last update couldnāt fix this:
didnāt want to write any word during Easter days
The gray color overlay still happens with some (always with the same ones, e.g. Flirt Waltz) songs. Info: the gray overlay is rather appyes to the ācompleteā VD view, not on the video content itself.
The remained last frame in VDm can happen 1x-2x, but canāt repro anymore constantly⦠so the tweaks in the code definitely reduced the occurence, but couldnāt fully elmininate yet.
We found a (the?) problem, but only Saturday morning, too late for the last version. Pls try again with the next one. There are multiple reports here, though; the fix mentioned above relates to Video Director views (not Monitor) showing a light gray overlay.
