Turn on “video edit mode” and the cursor disappears in the project window when the transport is stopped. Definitely not ideal.

This is by design and it’s like this for many years in Nuendo already.
This makes no sense to me. Ideally this is a great mode and you want to be in this mode 100% of the time. Losing your cursor forces us to leave this feature off. Why would you want to have to toggle this feature every time just to use it?
I pointed this out to 3 different Steinberg guys at the NAMM Steinberg party and all 3 were surprised that it disappeared and thought it was a bug as I did.
