Video file import

I’m trying to import a video file to Cubase 7.

The file is .mp4 and it plays without problem in VLC and Windows Media Player. All Cubase says is “Invalid or not supported file!”.

Does anyone know what the problem might be here?

Can you post the file so someone can have a look?

Do you have QT installed?

Get QuickTime Pro. Save the mp4 as mov file. I have to do that on a daily basis. It works perfectly.
