Video Lagging

In Cubase Elements 9.5.3 64-bit, I’m trying to lineup multi-track audio with a video file we recorded and the video player lags then freezes. The audio plays normally but the video won’t preview properly. Here’s some more information on my setup:

Video file:
4.41 GB .mp4 1920 x 1080 @ 29.97

PC Info:
Windows 10 64-bit
1 GB & AMD 5570 or nVidia 450
CPU: Intel Core i3 2.5 Ghz or AMD Phenom II 2.6 Ghz

same here, Cubase Pro 9.5, its an old problem and still no solution, i’m embarrassing myself in front of clients with choppy video playback, even with Prores proxy it wont work…pissed :frowning:(

Oh, thats a rather big videofile. Is it the same problem if using a smaller file?

How much RAM memory do you have (considering it’s a 4,4 GB file)?
