Wouldn’t you be better off with something like this, then …?
Well for windows users it might be. Videoslave is my favorite alternative - great for picture sync but editing audio is impossible. Protools obviously as well but sync isn’t incredibly accurate and doesn’t link super well if jumping around quickly. A Cubase/Nuendo sync is useful. for lets say an episode that has many conforms that can be done with quick stem adjustments, so all stems live in one massive Nuendo session and edits can be done there. Then when a cue actually needs to be altered its helpful to have that cubase session up and ready to hear how my adjustments are going to sync with the previous and following edits in Nuendo without having to bring in stems to Cubase to monitor each transition. Everyone does this, however mostly in protools. My interest in Nuendo was to have ‘one’ DAW that I can use well same key commands, same editing style, import and export track archives made in either daw. Mentally its more efficient to be functioning in ‘one’ program. So thanks for the suggestion, but im really looking to see if there is way to simply have video stay up when switching out of Nuendo when working on one machine. Eventually ill have Nuendo on my other machine, but I’m waiting for my additional elicenser
You have always been able to have the video player window visible on Windows while switching to another app. And it’s cool.
I see it’s an old topic but I came here because I am trying to find the solution for disappearing Video window on a Mac.
Disappearing video on Mac is. a Mac OS issue. Only way to get around it is to use something like a black magic card or external video unit.
Which card ?? Of black magic ?
