trying to compose to a video track which needs to be in my project folder so to be in sync, i have quicktime installed and running cubase artist 7.0.7 and when i create video track the audio files are splitted as normal but the video track has no thumbnails and no video plays back, atm i am running the video from quicktime outside of cubase so having a lot of syncing issues which is a big problem thanks

Go to your pool and remove unused media ( but not to trash ) then try importing the video again and when you select the video look at the info bar in windows, if it says " invalid source". Then you need to reinstall QuickTime and try again"…windows updates often interfere with quick time codec…
