I found out today that VA doesn’t work well with the Symphonic Riot articulation maps that I use for my Solo Strings VSL instruments. So now I have to revert back to the eLicenser. Anyone know how to do that?
Also, from creeds reply I’m understanding then that if I block all the VST2s I have, they will still show up on the instrument menu under Pay mode? Is that correct?
No, if blocked in Dorico, they won’t show up in Dorico. They WILL show up in other apps, like Vienna Ensemble, Which is VST3 and Will show up in the Dorico plug-in list
As stated above, VSL is working to fix the issue with the Symphonic Riot template. This has nothing to do with Vienna Assistant; that’s just a utility for downloading the updated libraries and software.
You might inquire of the VSL forum about the status of the fix…
