Has anyone encountered a situation where you want to play using the keyboard on your laptop, and the keys don’t work?
Well, I have, several times. Please take a look at the attached image.
I use C6.5.3 on mac 10.8.4
I think this might be the fact that I have a non latin letter language (hebrew) installed.
I will make some tests later on and update.
Alright, there is a solution.
When starting Cubase 6.5.3 on Mac 10.8.4 (not sure about PC) with Hebrew keyboard as the input source, the Virtual Keyboard will show strange characters (see screen shot attached to root post), which doesn’t respond when I tap the QWERTY keys, except for the Q and W, and the numbers - which represent the black keys.
*I believe this might happen with any other language that is not written in the Latin alphabet.
The solution I found is simply running Cubase with English as the input source.
You may want to adjust your system language to English as the primary language of the system, and then re-open cubase.
