How to achieve a similar result of Product X with Dorico? I tried the settings in “Voices” with no success.
When you mean the settings in Voices, do you mean the settings in the notation options, voices category ? That would be strange, because that’s where I would go. Anyway, you can always change the voice column index (properties panel) of any note from any voice in Engrave mode. This provides you with the maximum flexibility.
[Edit] Indeed, the notation options for voices are not aimed at that kind of rhythmic values, so the notes overlap as default. My solution with voice column index works as expected :
