Volume different when entering note via onscreen keyboard vs. Magic keyboard

Notes entered in Dorico for iPad are played back at a louder volume when entered via the onscreen piano keyboard than when entered by pressing a letter on the physical typewriter keyboard connected to the iPad. It was amusing to me at first, but it’s quite jarring when going from the physical keyboard to the onscreen one.

If you tap the lower part of the key on the on-screen keyboard, the note will be input with a higher velocity than if you tap the upper part of the key.

Is there a way to set the typing keyboard input volume to match the higher piano keyboard volume?

I’ve not double-checked this, but I think you can activate Use fixed volume to play selected notes on the Note Input and Editing page of Preferences, and set that to whatever you want.
