Volume Fade 'dial' on audio is TRASH!

Why ruin a feature that has been so adequate since SX? This to me is suits in a boardroom making changes so it looks liek they are actually working and it is such a horrific change. Destroys my work flow because I am now always accidently moving this while trying to relocate audio in my arangment.

Clearly this change was not made by a Cubase user. I know ‘why’ they claim to have changed it but it is not a valid reason, it being in the left corner does not make it more useful. If people need that in the dynamic volume editing function then I have no idea why they would be using said function, as its ultimately the same tool.

They should just remove it as an option when we select the tool to do the dynamic volume gain staging, and leave it in the middle. That white/grey square was one of the most used features for me, turned into a pile of trash by super greedy executives and entirely out of touch design teams

Wow, you discovered it after more than a year.
Switch off the volume handle here:

Then use Ctrl + Shift modifiers (default) to change the event gain without having to place the mouse cursor to any particular point.
