I have Cubase 15 now and whilst its very good I don’t like having a volume fader on each channel in the main project window. Many times i have changed the volume of an instrument in the mix accidently. It’s not needed at all, it just creates one more headache to deal with. I also used to be able to easily remove automation parameters wth a simple right click of the mouse and selecting Volume/pan etc etc. Not sure how to do that now. I’ve decided to stay with Cubase 14 for the mean time. Not everything needs to change in each new version.
Just remove them in the track settings
That’s very kind of you to post all that.
Another option..
Look in the help.
And it’s only there because so many others wanted it. And therein lies the rub.
I never requested or even thought about this simple feature. But I must say I’m finding it very useful.
And of course if you don’t want it. No problem.
I use VEGAS, which has this feature. It’s useful at times. But in Cubase I never use the faders - they’re all set to -5 and I use plugins for the actual gain staging. But that’s just me.
VIVE LA DIFFÉRENCE!!
(Yes filter, it’s a complete sentence)
Great thanks for that, Brilliant!!
Yes, obviously the case, trips me up though.
Everyone here will have a different way of working. I am a simpleton when it comes to knowing all the features of the program. I appreciate the input from all!!
