I’m using Noteperformer in Dorico and occasionally come across instruments that don’t have a volume fader in the mixer. What causes this to happen and how can I make the fader appear?
Note Performer has its own mixer (that with some exceptions feeds into a single fader on the Dorico Mixer).
It depends on the sound, but I’m having trouble because there is no mixer fader unique to Noteperformer. Dorico does have a mixer fader. You can adjust the fader. I remember that the Dorico faders didn’t work for sounds that use Noteperformer!
