Volume levelling many audio files?

I posted this in the Mastering Lounge but it seems to be very quiet in there…

I have quite a few old audio files (of inconsistent levels) which I would like to burn to a CD. Is there a quick way of making sure all the levels are equal in volume?

I have WaveLab Elements 8.

Put your files in the audio montage, and use the Meta loudness normalizer.

It is not as sophisticated as for the pro version, but it will achieve what you’re looking in a good way.
