Happy you managed to solve the issue. And yes I red it, but if other processes start giving issues (many VST plugins are based upon models created to deal with signals in the analogue domain, about -18dB compared to digital full scale) I thought to give you the advise anyway. You can use the “Save as new version” command as well to have this… it adds version numbers on your project file name.

you can select all your volume automation data and bring the values down by a fixed amount just by using the mouse wheel in the info line
