VST and VSTi Presets access changed behavior?

I nest my own 3rd party VST and VSTi plugins by function in the Steinberg VSTplugins folder. I always place a folder for Effects, Instruments and Utilities. Then inside, taking Effects for example, I make subfolders for EQ, Compressor, Delay, etc. and place the different plugins in their respective category for easy finding.

In C5 my top subdirectories like Effects, Instruments, etc. showed up in the Plugin list with the C6 plugins and I could just navigate down.

Now everything in the top level is by manufacturer and there is no visible access to my own subfolder structure.

What is the fix to return to the C5 behavior?

Uncheck:

Preferances > Plug-ins > Sort VST Plug-ins Menu by Vendor
