VST Instruments lose sound or MIDI when arming track or closing instrument editor

I’ve discovered what I think is the source of the problem.

I’m using a controller script for Streamdeck by SlideshowFX. I just disabled the script and VST instruments including Retrologue, now work as they should with no problem with MIDI volume.

When I disable the script again, the VST instrument no longer plays and I have to remove it, create a new instrument and try again. Then it plays as it should.

Here’s a screenshot of my MIDI port settings.

Yes I think I saw someone mention an issue with a controller script causing an issue.

I just watched the script MIDI port setup video on the creator’s youtube channel and then noticed that my MIDI port settings had somehow been reset to their defaults.

That has been the problem all along :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Anyway, problem solved, thanks again.
