VST Instruments Showing in Media Bay, but not in Cubase

Hello, I have some synths that I downloaded and show up in the correct path on my Mac: Library>application support>cubase>content>Halion>SYNTH. However, many of the SYNTHs do not show up within the media browser inside Halion on Cubase 15. I have attempted to use Plug In Manager, by adding an Empty folder, but that hasn;t worked out as the SYNTHs do not show in the plug-in window. Please advise

Halion synth libraries are only accessible within Halion. They don’t apppear as plugins in Cubase… because they are not plugins.

Thanks for your response, Johnny. I am perplexed, becaus Halion is available as a plug-in within Cubase and there are synths within Halion located in the same content folder. So, why do some synths appear when using Halion within Cubase, whilst others do not? I have never used Halion as a stand alone.

Halion has a media bay for browsing its installed libraries and presets.
Cubase can show the same presets in its media bay.

Can you maybe make screenshots of what exactly you mean? It might be that we are talking about different things.

Hello. Here is a screen shot of the media bay in Halion, plus the folder for Halion>content. As you can see, some of the vst instruments appear in the Halion borwser, whereas others do not.

Seems like it is only showing factory content, not extra purchases. Try using the back button to reset the preferences.
